This is a short shaft 25 hp Evinrude remote outboard boat motor. This engine weighs 114lbs and is a 2-stroke. This 25hp Evinrude has an electric starter and is set up for remote(controls included) . We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs excellent. It pushes our 14.5ft fiberglass skiff at around 28mph. Compression on this 25 hp evinrude is strong at around 120psi even. This would make a perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, Commercial Work Skiff, Mullet Boat, John Boat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Portable Boat, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
