This is an OMC Johnson 15 hp Outboard. The motor idles, accelerates, and performs excellent. We have fully boat tested this 15 hp Johnson and it runs perfectly. This engine was used in freshwater and has low hours on it for it's age. The motor is very powerful and planes out our 14ft fiberglass test boat. This is a 2-stroke, manual start, 15" short shaft, 2 cylinder, 15 hp Johnson outboard which weighs 74lbs. These are by far the most versatile and popular outboard motors around. They are very easy to work on, very easy to find parts for, and very easy to modify or covert to meet any boaters needs (ex: long shaft and remote conversion.) Compression on this motor was even on both cylinders. If you are in the market for a good running 9.9-15hp outboard engine this is the cost efficient way to go.
