This is a very clean 115 hp Mercury outboard boat motor. This motor is a 2 stroke carbureted engine which idles on 2 cylinders to save on gas. It kicks into all 4 cylinders when the motor reaches plane speeds. Compression on this Mercury 115hp was very strong at about 125-130psi. This 115hp Mercury is set up for pre-mix as the oil injection was disconnected. We have fully boat tested this motor on March 2nd, 2008. This motor runs perfect and is ready to go. The 115 hp Mercury pushed a 17' Mako about 45-50 mph. This engine is very clean all the way through. This engine includes top mounted controls along with a wiring harness. These Mercury's are bullet proof and run very powerful. They are inline 4 cylinder engines with plenty of torque and top end.
