25hp Mariner Outboard
20" Long Shaft, Tiller Model, Electric & Manual Start. Two Stroke, Stainless Prop.

This is a Mariner 25 hp outboard motor with a long shaft, electric start, stainless prop, and tiller steering. This motor is the same engine as the Mercury 25hp. The cowlings were replaced with interchangeable Mercury cowlings. This engine has the gear shifter on the side of the engine rather than the tiller. This allows you to rev the engine while it is neutral. This outboard has been fully boat tested and is ready to go .We have performed a compression check and this outboard has 130+ psi on both cylinders. This 20 hp Mariner weighs about 110lbs. A 20" Shaft makes motor a perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, John Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe(transom riser), Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
