This is a great 25hp Mercury long shaft outboard motor with compression of around 130psi even. This is a very desirable motor as it is the 2 stroke 112lbs model. This was the very last model year that this engine was made. Now Mercury Makes 4 stroke 25hp outboards that weigh 160lbs and are not feasible for many small fishing boats. This is very rare to come across a motor this clean for this price. This motor is in mint condition and has very few freshwater hours. It is in showroom condition and runs as though it were brand new. This motor was bought brand new from us in 2007 from a local customer who used the motor for less than 10 hours in freshwater. This motor starts extremely easy and runs very strong. The inside looks mint with all the original grease in around the linkages. This is a Mercury 25 hp outboard motor with a long shaft, pull start, and tiller steering. A 20" Shaft makes motor a perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, John Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Portable Boat, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
