This 8 hp Mercury only weighs 74lbs which makes it ideal for most small boats that have weight constraints. This outboard is a manual start, tiller, 15" shaft, 2 stroke, that runs perfectly. We have fully boat tested this motor and it is ready to go. This would make a perfect outboard to use as a kicker on your fishing skiff or jon boat. This would also make a great engine for lakes that are 10hp and below.
