Great running motor! Very strong 4hp Mariner outboard. Light-weight at only 45lbs has a built in gas tank or you could use an external gas tank. Perfect motor for an inflatable or little john boat. This is a short shaft model. This engine has many features including thru-hub exhaust, forward-Neutral-Reverse and twist-grip throttle. This 4 hp Mariner was primarily used in freshwater. We love these engines because they are light-weight and will almost plane a small boat with one person. If you own a portable boat, canoe, small inflatable, or fishing dingy this is the engine. You can carry this motor to and from the boat. We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs perfect. This is one of the cleaner 4 hp outboards we have sold.
