This is a 9.8 hp Tohatsu( made by Nissan) 4 stroke long shaft outboard boat motor. This engine has a 20" long shaft which is ideal for larger transoms, kicker brackets, or sailboats. This engine has been serviced and it runs great. We have fully boat tested this 9.8hp Tohatsu and it pushes our 14ft skiff on plane. This Tohatsu has a manual start, tiller handle, weighs 85lbs, and has forward neutral and reverse. Tohatsu makes a great product and we have had lots of success with these engines. If you are in the market for a good running 9.8hp long shaft outboard this is the engine. This 9.8hp Tohatsu would make a great motor to use as a kicker, sailboat motor, jon boat motor, skiff engine, or to use on any other water craft that utilizes a 20" long shaft.
