This is a great running 25hp Mercury long shaft outboard motor with compression of around 125psi even. This 25 hp Mercury is a 2-stroke and has a manual start. This is a very desirable motor as it is the 2 stroke 114lbs model. We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs excellent. 2 stroke Mercury engines are getting very hard to find. They are very desirable due to the weight-to-power ratio. This is the perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, John Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Portable Boat, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
